What Is Grass Fed, Grass Finished Beef?
By “grass fed and finished,” we mean that our longhorns have spent their entire lives on grass pasture. They've consumed nothing but their mothers milk, pasture grasses, and hay in the winter months. Compared to typical store-bought beef, grass fed beef has about 30-40% less fat. Our Longhorns eat healthy, natural grasses, resulting in a happier animal, and leaner beef.
Grass-fed meat has a subtle yet earthy flavor, complimenting any spices or seasoning perfectly.
